Two new eco-houses in an Oxfordshire village. One complete, one under construction.
The siting, massing and detail design of the two homes were carefully considered in relation to the wider context, arboricultural advice, orientation, views out, eco-performance, quality of the outdoor and indoor spaces.
A mixture of local materials/building techniques and modern elements are part of the architectural concept. The forms are influenced by the area’s character.
The homes are larch-clad with air-source heat pumps and solar panels.
